This space contains information about the PIPA project (what is it about, objective, importance, team), partial pilot project results, technical-scientific team production, information on events, as well as a library containing international and national literature on the “Child Environmental Health” subject for research and/or improvement.
Project participants undergo exams and are interviewed to evaluate aspects related to living conditions, health, housing, food, among other factors.
Based on the results obtained in the UFRJ project, it is expected to contribute to the planning of preventive and control measures, as well as public policies aimed at the exposure of children to environmental pollutants in Brazil.
